any good way

Is there any good way to introduce assassin snails to a cichilid tank? I have smaller snails in my substrate and got some assassin snails to take care of them. However, even after a good feeding my Frontosas and Green Terror are taking a liking to them. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Put them in at night after the lights have been off for a couple of hours. They should be sleeping and that will give the snails time to hide.

Maybe add some plants to give the snails better hiding spots? They will most likely continue to be eaten.

yeah that is what I feared. I don't really want to treat my tank with chemicals.
