Looking for an at home filter that's cheap and will get lead and copper out of the water and this thing looks pretty good.

I guess for drinking but for my tank
MY thousands of dollars of corals only get RO/DI water

I got it as a free gift and used it was fine but not as efficient as a good RO/DI but if your just doing 1 tank and don't mind the pain of hooking it up to your sink its a great deal works good.

Thanks guys. I had to break down the mini-reef and all but a few zoo's and an anemone are my main concerns. The trade-in on my stock was very high yield which meant I was doing something right but I'd love to cut costs.

A good salt mix and a filter that will screen copper would suit me fine. Can't tie into a water line in the apartment and this seems like a good cheap solution.
