any grammodes fans here?

just want to know who owns a grammodes cichlids and want to find out what they're tempers like...thanks..

depends from fish to fish, i have seen many grammodes that have lived up to there nickname of "mini dovii" and been very aggresive fish that have killed tank mates, and a good number of grammodes that are docile and would make good large fish community fish. it's a get one and see what there like kind of thing.

Yeah, there are a couple of guys on here. I have found out that they live up to their reputation of the "mini dovii". My 5" make killed my 6" jardini. I was really pissed about that. That same 5" grammode also ruled the tank over and much larger oscar and a midas.

I now have a breeding pair in a 37 and won't even try to put anything in with them.

One of the latest pic's of my male. Highly aggressive had to move a Rainbow cichlid and Convict to my 29g. The Convict was formerly the alpha of the tank.
