I'm looking to get a new guitar as a Christmas gift for myself. I'm not going to spend over 1,000$ as I don't play all that much. I havn't played for a few years and I recently started getting back into it. So what should I get?

What do you personally own? What would you want? I'm thinking an Epiphone Les Paul, Standard Fender Strat maybe an American Strat, or a Jackson.
My favorite is a gibson les paul, but those are expensive.I have an Ibanez AR-200.

This ones not mine, but it looks exactly same as the one I have. I got it on sale and with a discount for about 400 bucks. I think the original price was about 700.
