Looks like hith but this has come on in about a week.ive looked back through a video I took two weeks ago and there’s no sign of anything on him.
I’ve recently moved his tank from my utility room to the shed and changed his substrate from gravel to black sand.

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0 or hardly detectable
Ph 6.5
Kh 0

Not a week but longer. But short of getting scraped it has some deeper areas of pitting. See what duanes duanes thinks about it.

I thought it was scrape marks at first but it seems to have spread quick, this is a screen shot of a video about two weeks ago and I can’t see anything.

I really can't tell.
Did it thrash around a lot when moved? When it was put in the new tank?
Did the marks appear soon after the move?
I'd add some salt just to promote healing.
Look like scrape marks at this point to me.

Thanks for the sharp reply pal,
i moved him about three weeks ago
Didn’t see any scrapes and was netted pretty easy so didn’t really bang about.
I noticed the marks about a week ago and they’ve just seemed to get worse.ive put a half dosage of salt in aquarium yesterday.
I’m just going to monitor the marks for now I think and make sure water is ok.
