It looks like a female spotted medusa pleco. The males get real bushy on their nose like a bristlenose. But the females have a lot less bushiness, sometimes none at all.

its seems to be obvious you know nothing about ancistrus pleco.

the lfs know what that pleco is.

blue phantom

i had thought it might be a blue phantom. how do they do with plants? i don't want to see all my beloved plants get eaten up. also, the articles i have read indicate that communities are fine. tetras, banjo cats, black khuli loaches, celebes rainbow fish, and a betta. do yall think a blue phantom ought to get along fine with those fish?

Looks like a female blue phantom, as I have 2 male blue phantoms and they do not bother any of my plants, they should have wood and a place to hide cave, mine are about 8" and 6" and have a wicked set of bristles on gill plates and on pectoral fins, I will see if I can post a pic 2 pictures of same fish 2 years agoIMG_1769.jpgIMG_2352.jpg
