Any idea with melting leaves amazon sword

I have this amazon sword? The leaves melt away the new growth only gets to a certain length then melts away .. any ideas?

What light are you using and the duration it is on?

If the sword was in a tank being fed co2 and/or fertz then need to provide it. The plant may not be getting enough nutrients from the substrate or fish and can cause this as well.

How long have you had it? May just be transitioning from emersed form to submersed

You can also make your own root tabs, by getting a bag of unfilled gel caps, and filling them with Omocote (Plus) slow release fertilizer found at plant, or hardware stores, and push them into your substrate.
