I have decided to stay with freshwater on my 20gal and the crawfish totally wiped out the snails in 2 days I may keep both of them in a 5gal just waiting on them to take out the goldfish...any ideas of what I can stock it with? Anything that can either go with the crawfish? Or perhaps a 1 or 2 fish stock?

Crays r wicked agressive. They will eat what they can catch ive had mine take down rbps. But with a tank that size id def go african cichlids. Unless u plan on gettin a bigger tank I would stick with rams. smaller breeds. You can prolly house 4 or 5 in a 20g with ur cray. Just make sure u have sinkin pellets and keep the cray fed.

They need a bigger tank then a 20 gallon. He can do dwarf cichlids with live plants but the crayfish has to go.

I'm glad to hear your responses and the 2 crawfish are both 4 inches and I got them from a friend that wild caught them...once the goldfish are gone I'm gonna release them since they are so aggressive...and I already have a Cichlid tank was wanting to try something diff

Great point and I fully support not releasing most pets but these came from the creek behind my house...so releasing them back shouldn't cause any harm...

wrong... they will introduce disease out into the wild that they can get in tanks.......

Even after being in the tank for only a few days...with no disease present?
