Any ideas for a 4 gallon?

I was thinking snail breeding, daphnia, brine shrimp, etc. do you have any ideas?

Since u got the puffer in ur avatar then a breeding snail tank will do. Maybe a pea puffer planted tanks.

A couple RTC, some iridescent sharks, alligator gar, GTF. Make sure you have at least 20 of each. You could add more though.
But you only need a bowl, about a half gallon and don’t forget the goldfish:lol2::hitting:

Cherry shrimp will do quite well. Or you could try daphnia or californian black worms. I put some of the latter in my hillstream tank last year and they love hiding under the stones. They seem to be doing well enough although I am certain quite a few get eaten by the fish. You can combine them with shrimp as well but there is a possibility the shrimp out-competing the worms for food. Shrimp are great detritus eaters and a big population will dwindle even a snail population.
