Well my oscar keeps jumping out of his tank and I HAVE to cover it.:nilly::nilly::nilly:

for the time being I just took the tops of my 20L and regular 20G tank off and threw those on there but the dont fit and look crappy..

Any ideas anybody?:irked:

Get some eggrate from Home Depot or Lowes. Those 2'x4' peices of plastic with square holes in them? Then use scissors to snip it down to the exact size of your tank, snip out the squares to go around your filter and snap it down on there. Make sure you don't cut it too small. Cut it so the plastic edges sit tight in the lip of the tank frame edge. Then get some real lids ordered when you can.

well... I was lookig to cover it for less than it would cost to buy a lid... so IDK if the glass would be cost effective

Do the eggcrate and a thin sheet of acrylic. then take clear packing tape and tape the back and sides down.

Never underestimate the value of good tape lol
