I have a terra cotta pot but with wave makers and large fish they tend to move around alot.
Thus making the tank look out of control.

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to keep these things in place?

I personally don’t mess with bare bottom tanks so know nothing about the topic but what about aquarium grade silicone or something like that

Yeah I was thinking about glue or silicone as well. It would definitely hold it there but be a pain if you wanted to move it.

Yea but if they’re trying to find a way to keep it in place then you can probably count on them wanting it there for a good amount of time and wouldn’t have to worry about moving it for quite some time

A quick fix would be to place 2 small rocks on either side of the pot to keep it from rolling about the tank.

Add substrate.

Or silicone 2 small rocks to the side of the pots at the floor points.. That'll keep them from moving around.

Get a piece of slate and get tank epoxy- get the stuff salties use to attach corals. Them attach the pot to the piece of slate. You can also use a ceramic tile.

Or even better idea if you can spend some money, https://plecocaves.com/ they sell more than caves for plecos- poke around the site.
