I have a pair of F0 Guyana Angels in my planted tank, they had recently paired off and had been fighting with the lone angel in the tank. The pair had suffered a few minor injuries no big deal. Until the last few days the female has been somewhat lethargic, stays near the top of the tank and is breathing rapidly. Her abdomen is somewhat swollen, and she has a 2mm pin hole through the middle of her top fin near the body. Her eyes also look to be slighly swollen. She is moving around more today than she has been after I treated the tank with Melafix. The water parms are pristine:

0 ammonia
0 nitrite
5ppm nitrate
6.8 pH
2 dKH

I have not noticed any white stringy poo, but I do feed the fish daily on frozen foods soaked in garlic extract. Any idea what could be affecting the fish? I did remove the lone angelfish so they pair now has peace.

Is the fish eating? Sounds like a possible bacterial infection. Is the water well aerated?
Do you feed the same frozen food every day? If so, maybe add a couple other things for some variation in their diet.

The fish did not eat yesterday evening when I fed them. I also feed them OSI RTB pellets and Ocean Nutriton flakes in addition to the frozen. The frozen foods I feed are Mysis, Bloodworms and Brine Shrimp with Spirulina. The tank is filtered by an AC110 and a Rena XP3....it is very densely planted so oxygen shouldnt be an issue either.

Sounds like either stress or a bacterial infection.
If possible I'd throw in some mosquito larvae or something else live and moving to get their attention.
If the condition doesn't improve and it is a bacterial infection, I don't really have any advice to offer.

Thanks, I do fear it is a bacterial infection. The melafix supposidly treats that as well as heals wounds so...it should help. The fish has been swimming a little and the male is totally fine, hopefully she continues to improve. Her abdomen isnt as large today, still not eating but I guess some improvement is better than none. I have some live black worms, Ill toss those in and see how it goes. :)
