...On what would make a trench in a salt tank? I can't get any good pics, I'll try again in the morning, but here's the best description I've got: Its maybe 10-12 inches long, squiggles a little, 1/2 inch wide by maybe 1/3 inch deep. Like a legit trench in the sand.

I've been trying to trap my cardinal so I've only been putting food in a bottle in an attempt to get him desperate enough to go in there to get it and so far I've met with overwhelming failure. lol. Anyway, today, I left for work with the food still in the bottle and came home this evening to a trench going from a random point in the tank and appearing to end at the bottle's opening.

I am not missing anyone, fish or inverts. There's two clowns, a flame angel, cardinal, CBS, emerald crab, couple nass snails, stomatella snail, some odd dwarf hermits and that's it. Nothing in it, to my knowledge, makes a trench like that. Any ideas? Mostly lookin for the "Should I be concerned about a random huge worm" ideas? lol

Strange...they've never done that before. Any thoughts as to why they would do it? Is it a method of sifting the sand?
