I don't have one of these yet but I am looking to buy one or two. I have a 150 gallon tank and would like to start out with a couple of small like 6" ones. Anyone know where I could purchase one? I have only seen large ones (over 2') in a market in Iquitos, Peru. The stripes were so awesome and since then I always wished I had a tank large enough for them. Now I think I do but I am thinking about making a 450 gallon Plywood tank 96x36x30, which should be big enough for them for a while.
Also, what would make good tankmates for them that won't nip on their whiskers. I was thinking of maybe adding a few Albino tiger oscars. Let me know what you think.
