So I ended up picking up a monster Rhinelepis strigosa from K2. He is a little bit of rough shape. He is settling into my tank but not eating yet. Not much info on this guys. Can anyone share any info on them? Also any food recommendations? Have tried pellets, shrimp and zucchini. Going to try repashy and mussels tonight. Any info on these guys would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures!!!!!

Is he in a Q tank? If so, I'd say leave two most popular foods in it over night. Cucumber, and live blackworms. That's what I do with iffy ones that comes in.

Pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately my q tank was broken down and not setup right now. He is in my 125g. So far we have tried shrimp, mussels, pellets, repashy community with blood worm in it and krill, zucchini, and cucumber. Today we are going to put the cucumber in skin side up and try silver sides. Any other suggestions? Will also try potato this weekend.

When they're big like that, the normal rules don't apply. If he goes a couple weeks without eating, try not to fret. That said, maybe try watermelon? I fed that last night and even my pseudas went crazy for it and they don't eat anything that isn't meat-based.

someone calls mango pleco-cocaine
Another option, try rubbing garlic on the food item, or soaking it in garlic extract. Supposedly garlic is an appetite stimulant (it's one of the ingredients in NLS).
