Anyone have info or have one to tell me about them...include some pics if you have any.. i saw a almost black 17 inch rubber eel in lfs the other day... for $20 ..is that a good price?thanks ...

rubber eel are most likely caecillians (not sure on spelling) they are an amphibian, they have a small mouth so live well with small/medium sized fish which wont eat them. i would imagine $20 is a good price as youd pay a great deal more for one of that size over here.

thanks very much... at least i know they are non aggressive... probably get along okay with bichirs... :D

Super easy maintenance. Never have to feed it. Dont even have to keep it in water if you dont want to. I think $20 is a little steep for a rubber eel. I think the hardest thing is remembering to wipe the dust off once a month. ;)
