My rare Brachyhypopmus Brevirostris has a tiny pin head bump {seems like it is trying to push out of the body} want to be super careful of what med i use to treat him since he is delicate knife.. here is pic It is located about an inch back from his head and another small spot down towards tail...he is perfectly healthy and doing great otherwise..

I would like to know a safe medicine for a scaleless fish..anybody?? It seems to be clearing up..but still need info for the future..

Without culturing the abscess, the safest bet is to employ a broad-spectrum antibiotic. A couple that I've had success using on sensitive species are Triple Sulfa (aka; Tri-Sulfa) and Kanacyn. There are many others but, these 2 treat a broader range of pathogens (IMO)
