$25 per bucket or a $1 a pound.

Sand is made up of mixture or white silica based play sand and larger crushed coral for a nice variety of sizes and uses. Loads of critters, bristle worms, and im sure some feather dusters here and there as well.

If no interest I will simply use it in my freshwater tanks so no big deal if I keep it or not.

I have about 10 Cubic feet of this sand availble or 20 buckets worth.

Bring Your Own Buckets and lids..

dont put that in ur fw tank. ull probably regret it. u have to rinse and air dry multiple times to be sure that nothing from your SW leeches into your tank. if anything, just donate it or trade with a local

If you're gonna donate it then I need to know...LOL

I'll have to borrow a truck instead of a van for the skimmer trip......

I'll definetly take some when I head out.

PS... I learned the hard way that the puffer doesn't like fingers in the tank.... Never felt anything like it and as a mechanic I smash fingers on a regular basis. Super glue is GOOD!

Lol, you know I always had a feeling that between him and the trigger that I shouldn't keep my fingers in there for too long... Good to know.. He teeth do much damage? I know that monster 4' zebra eel had some nice crushing power when he got my finger but at least there were no sharp edge teeth involved like the puffer.

Also, How much rock did you want?

Not too much finger damage.....did think I was gonna need a few stitches at first but I just superglued. I'm lucky his top jaw caught my fingernail otherwise I think he would have taken the entire tip......Lesson learned...LOL

I want as much rock/sand as I will have room for...LOL

Man I never knew how much work I made for myself by getting that stuff. I've been going to great lengths to assure these guys have a good home....It's no where near the quality of where they came from but I'm working on it.
My living room now has an acrylic 100+ gallon sump where my other couch USED to sit. The bio tower is level with the top of the tank.

I'm guessing enough rock to fill a 75 gallon tank.....sand I don't know for sure yet as I don't know what I'm using for a sump for my sump.
