any inverts good with dwarf cichlids?

Almost any of the NON CLAWED inverts would be fine. I have a pair of giant filter shrimp and some cherry shrimp with my dwarfs and they all get along very well. But DEFINATELY STAY AWAY FROM CRAWFISH as they are little predators and will kill and eat your dwarfs.

im 50/50 with cherry shrimp. I got like 10 recently and within 10mins in the tank one of my cacatoides had one in its mouth munchin the shrimp up.... he is now in a breeder net in the tank as he was the only one big enough to get them in his mouth.... but i will fill you in on how the cherries work out
