Any keep a clown knife with gar

Do any of y’all keep a clown knife with your gar? I have a friend with a few large clown loaches and nice clown knife that wants to give them to me for my 350g that has two Tropicals and soon my Cuban that’s grown quite a bit.

The gar are all larger than the other fish but not able to eat them

Sometimes the clowns can be jerks , but that can be monitored and usually isn't a problem for gars (clowns often fight similar shaped fish tho, such as wallago)

thanks. Yeah I knew they’d fight each other and similar shaped. Didn’t know if the gar are code enough” in shape. I’m still going to think on it. I always thought they would be cool in a big tank, then just never revisited later in life when I actually have large tanks. Haha.

I had a few 15"-24" knives with a few 12"-20" gars (florida and tropical) in the past. I never had a problem.
