Any Koi keepers out there?

I am in the process of building a 2200 Gallon Koi Pond in my little back yard. It has two skimmers, two water falls, auto fill overflow protected pumps that can move 6500GPH. Drew the plans up myeslf, AutoCAD, got all the pond components and most of the plumbing stuff. Hope to start actual build next month and have it finished before the 100° AZ weather hits.

sounds like a fun project, koi are awesome fish. Im building a koi/channel cat pond this summer.

I have a 1300 gal koi pond. In all honesty tho, you dont need a skimmer. I recommend adding a UV light in there to make your water crystal clear and free from algae
