shell dwellers are great. The color may not be as bright as the others, but you should still enjoy. I would be sure in that small tank to check the sex of the fish to prevent overcrowding of males... or to keep a female from getting them all worked up. Remember to add tons of shells. They are fun to watch when you do this

what about golden julies

I am sure they would do fine. You will want to get a pair if you want them to mate. They are to tell apart when sexing, but the old where are the holes and how big work. They are alittle pricey though let me know how it works
