Hi folks,

I am always looking for interesting literature concerning fish physiology, -health or -biology in general.

Are there any great works you would recommend?

Some I would recommend are for example:

Hoar, S.W. / Randall, D.J. (Editors), "Fish Physiology"-Series , Academic Press New York/London, 1969-open end

or

or

AQUARIOLOGY / The Science of Fish Health Management, Gratzek J.B. et al., Tetra Press
1. Master Volume 1992
a) Fish Breeding and Genetics
b) Fish Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition
c) Fish Diseases and Water Chemistry

some like that...

A really good book that I've read recently is: "Fish Behavior: In The Aquarium And In The Wild" by Reebs, Stephan. First Edition, Cornell University Press, 2001

Yeah, I already got this one it is easy to understand but great in quality.

Another greatly introducing one is:
Smith, L.S., "Introduction To Fish Physiology", T.F.H. Publ., 1982

For those being interested in Fishdisease there is one very good to test your own skills:

Lewbart G.A., "Self-Assessment Colour Review of Ornamental Fish", Manson Publishing Ltd., 1998
