Yea, my qn is as of the title! anyone had any luck with rays and hikari's sinking wafers pellets? i think i kinda messed up... :(

Wafers pellet is for Carnivores, some L-species are carnivores. I dont know what mark you are using, but its probably not for stingrays.. Go simple dude, i understand that this is your first ray, and everything is new.. This is what ive done with my rays, on every shipment ive had(yeah, its only 2, but WC).. Test water, see that it is ok on the parameters, PH, Nitrit, Nitrat.. Change water every 4-5 days(you see how often when you test your water). 1: Feed Nightcrawlers\Earth Worms. 2: They eat them(will do, may take a little while)3: Chop them up in a small box and put some shrimp in the same box, let it stay overnight. Then only feed the shrimp. Do this til he eats them(if he dont, after 4 days, feed him worms again). Then feed worms for some days, til you see he is fat and good, and try again. Motoros are pretty easy this way, they take it pretty quick. Ive had a yepezi that ive struggled with over half a year, but she ate nightcrawlers, so i assumed she was healthy, now she eat fillet and shrimp. When all this is done, keep up with the waterchanges, and feed.

The Reason i wrote all this, is becouse you are jumping from 1 thread to another, and i would love to se you calm a littlebit down. Not for my sake, but for your own, by starting 10 threads at 1 time you _COULD_ seem like a 14 year old guy getting his first fish :)

Keep it up man, i have faith in you!:)

I have a juv 4" motoro that was previously fed only on frozen bloodworms. I didn't feed him for a few days and tried NLS pellets but he would ignore them. After a few hours, I siphoned them out, and that evening headed down to the LFS, where the owner told me to give Hikari Carnivore tablets a shot. When I got home I dropped the Carnivore tablets in and the motoro zoomed in straight for it and ate the pellets right up.

I think Hikari puts a very strong smell attractant in its foods that make the fish just go crazy for them!

edit: just noticed you're in Singapore too. Ray keepers here generally feed their rays with market prawns, feeder torsat or if pellet training them, use Hikari Carnivore or Massivore. Shouldn't go wrong using one of these since you probably picked up your ray locally and this is what they've been fed all along
