Hey just wondering is there any other machinists in the hobby of keeping fish? Would make some home projects a lot easier. Never got a chance to do any my projects yet but they are on the way!

the lounge is designated for exactly that,..........non fish related topics so you're in the right place

would like to eventually see pics of your projects since you're a machinist

I drag race a 1973 Mazda RX2 with a naturally aspirated 13b rotary engine and I machine and make all kinds of parts for it and other things. I have a huge lathe, Bridgeport mill, sanders, Saws, Mig and tig welder, you name it I can pretty much fabricate it.
Here's a pic of my car. Best 1/8th mile is 6.30 at 106mph and best 1/4mile is 10.0@ 128mph- no turbo, no nitrous- ROTARY POWER!

that thing must be screaming going at the end of the track. I have not had a chance to build any of my own stuff at the moment. I want to fab up some bumpers for our super duty and 4 link for the rear to run coil overs also want to run coil overs on the front. Don't k own if you have been in a newer 3/4 ton ford but the ride like a hay wagon. As for my othere projects my mind keeps changing

Very nice. What made you decide to go n/a motor

Because I wanted to run Import all motor pro heads up class and it's much cheaper to maintain than a turbo setup. I have been running this engine for 4 years and haven't touched it. And they say rotary engines aren't reliable lol- it's how you build them and maintain them.
