Fort Hood, Texas
So I'm U.S. Army stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. I recently Found out that I will be moving to Camp Carroll, South Korea. I was wondering If there are any members there, either by birth or stationed there.. Who would be able to give me any incite to the sport fishing available to me there. I would love any type of advice on what to fish for, what to fish with, where to fish etc etc etc.
Please give me some hope, I don't know what I will do if I am not able to fish.
Sounds pathetic but I'm leaving my family and my Fish(pets) here in Texas so I'm hoping I get to bring along at least one of my favorite things.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry brother, I was at Camp Casey in '96, not much in the way of fishing, at least not then. I still had fun though. If I had been able to have my wife and daughter with me it would have been my best tour, period. Investigate the area, there are interesting things to do other than drink. Careful with the booze, it's incredibly cheap and a lot of guys come back alcoholics.

First Tank!!(Unit cohesion there is great)

Good stuff, I'm not too much of a drinker so not really worried about that. I'm mainly hoping that I will be able to fish or something similiar by myself or away from post. I'm the type that needs to get out of f base and pretend like I'm a civilian every now and then.
Thanks for posting anyways
