I'm not sure who'll win, one thing I am sure of though is that if either of them stepped into pride absolute, they'd get their asses handed to them by fedor within a minute or 2 :D
 
thats tough. But i would side with gracie nonetheless. . . If gracie doesnt get pummelled
then he can submit Hughes.
 
I cannot see how JG can pull off a sub....... Yeah BJ did but that was years ago with a much less experienced MH........ Matts got that retard strenth so it will be hard to hold him in any compermising position long enough to submit.......

but i hope Gracie wins.........

actually no i dont...... i want matt to fight Gsp again.........
 
I'm thinking Matt will win. He's more well rounded, more athletic, and I don't think Gracie will be able to hold him down well enough to submit him. I like Matt better, but I think it would be cool to see Gracie make a comeback.
 
I think Hughes will win, he is still in his prime, The ufc has changed since Gracie has last fought there, fighters have a better idea of what to expect from his jujitsu , and Royce can't take advantage of unprepared fighters like before,(Gracie can adjust I know),however Hughes will probably be the smallest opponent Royce has ever faced in the ufc so that gives him an edge too, Hughes seems like he can overpower Gracie almost as well as Kimo did years ago (granted Hughes isnt 260 or so like Kimo was! but he doesn't have a ponytail either,) I think it can be a great fight, I also realize that it can be liddel -couture 1 where the old guy beats the younger guy and makes a career comeback or Tito-Shamrock where the old guy comes in with his gloryfied career and achievements only to be defeated( I know his knee was in bad shape) by the younger more advanced/prepared fighter? Hughes can't match Gracies jujitsu techniques but Gracie can't match his strength ,youth, and wrestling, I know there is a lot more to it, but I have to go with Hughes,

Big difference between the weight classes and not even a fair comparison or could be taken seriously - it wouldnt prove anything because that would be a certain outcome. Fedor is in a class by himself, maybe Tim Silvia from UFC...I said maybe
 
Yeah Huges and Gracie is gonna be one hell of a fight i love both fighters i think there great but i think Huges is gonna have this round his youth and strength may be a little much for gracie huges is a very strong contender and dominates on top. But on the flip side of the coin Gracie Exellent on the ground does well on his back this is going to be a very good match up.
