I was wondering what kind of stocking I could wrap together for a 37 gallon? Not familiar with New World just wondering, there may not even be anything haha.

Lots of choices. Salvini, firemouths, convicts to start. Other Archocentrus ( or is it cryptoheros now) species would also work, like Sajica. Don't forget about apistos and rams.

Cutteri also you could do a pair of T-bar cichlids

Sajica are very cool, I would start with a group of 1m 3f as the males can be hard on the ladies. The group can be thinned later but just takes all the pressure off one female. Some dithers would be good too

Any cryptoheros (cutteri ,sajica, chetumalensis ) I would at least 3 females to one male. Even in well established pairs the male can be very brutal on females

Thanks guys for the tips with starting! I am unaware of the real definition of a "dither". Please explain!

Dithers are fish that are placed in an set up to divert aggression. When dealing with cichlids in many cases they need target fish to take away aggression from a mate or potential mate. For example I have a 29 with 7 crypthoheros cutteri and a few smaller convicts. Instead of the cutteri mainly focusing on other cutteri they team up and focus on the convicts instead.

Thanks for the explanation!
Where I am located there is a very small list of cichlids i can get my hands on. There is a LFS an hour away with a few unique species. But there is a cichlid breeder about 45 minutes away. If someone could check this list out and let me know of anything that looks suitable it would be much appreciated! http://stlouis.craigslist.org/for/3675992732.html
