Being that I live on Long Island and run a Tackle shop I'm wondering if there are any guys from NY in here that fish. Tell me about where you fish and how long you've been doing it before. If anyone even wants to meet up sometime this summer I'll go fishin with ya. Baits on me!! haha

i'm a ny fisherman 
there are lots of spots around me where i go to fish the hudson, i also fish the east river and harlem river..occasionally during may-july i headup to city island and fish off the north start with a few buddies..i usually go to any good spots i hear about, best one for me so far is about a 15 minute walk from my place.

IM a CT fisherman but I have fished in NY befor. Went to lake ontario to fish for monster browns and lakers. Im going back up this May
I live by the C.T. / N.Y. line . this summer N.Y is on the hit list I found lots of off the beatin path spot's .. 
Do you guys mainly fish freshwater? If anyone is ever on the Island I'll take ya fishing! Bait and tackle provided! haha maybe I can start a quide service for my fellow MFKers
ive fished the rairitan bay a few times, mostly for stripers. have gone out for tuna a few times 2. i do all my freshwater fishing closer to home tho.
