Anyone have an interesting ice fishing story to share?

A few years ago I was checking the water depth at a hole I had just drilled. Attached the fluorescent orange lead sounder to the hook and sent it to the bottom. Set my trap down and began to pull the sounder back up. It seemed really heavy and started to move. Like any good fisherman, I tugged on the line and up came a bass about 13". Guess it liked the taste of lead and paint.
Going ice fishing for the last time on sunday. Ice is getting soft.

no really interesting ice fishing stories to tell except i love to ice fish. exspecially when ur so use to sitting in a gut because its so cold out and then boom it hits 60 degrees then i go running out with all my tip ups and a 12 pk a bucket and watch the flags start popping.

I have never caught a bass through the ice, and our lake is loaded with them.

Not really rare or anything but I caught about fifty mudpuppies this winter through the ice. Oh yeah my buddy caught a decent pike on a wax worm which I found hard to believe. First timme I ever saw a pike caught on a wax worm.
