my fish do they hide from everyone cept me and my aunt ( even tho the tank is in my room my aunt feeds my fish when im gone )

Cichlids usually remember the hand that feeds them. My Oscar and Jag don't normally hide, but my jag is very skittish and with jump at the slightest movement.
