Maybe I'm wrong but I think a 200 is ok. From what I understand they are not very active..... Actually read that on a thread that was up on this site very recently. May want to do a search on this site cause there was lots of info...... My lfs has had one (decent size...) for a while not marked at $95. Surprised no one has bought it.

Rubber gloves... I think that you can actually take the shock of one... I'm not sure... I fell asleep durring that Myth Busters. But you just feed them before hand that way they arn't looking to hunt and shock anything.
 
I kept Himantura rays once before and they didn't survive long. They are very sensitive. I may try again some day, but it's an expensive experiment to undertake.
 
I went to ECZS today and John showed me the 2 meter specimen. The animal was ridiculous. It was so big and fat, I was scared even to look at it the wrong way. I almost peed myself. It looked like it could have eaten me and I weigh 260 lbs.

rays: so you kept them? how big did they get and do they breed in fresh?
