I have started integrating wax worms into my wolfs diet of tilapia and salmon fillets, I was thinking of trying crickets but I they seem a bit more likely to cause issues. I have read that in the wild these guys would eat primarily insects especially when they are small, any input is welcome was wondering if anyone else spices their wolfs diet up with the occasional insect (store bought) ?

Insects are great. Wax worm, crickets, meal worms, beetles, king worms, etc. are a great way to balance their diet. My Red Wolf goes crazy for bugs.

cockroaches, flyless or flightless flies, mealworms is prolific, you could also start a breeding factory of convict cichlid. :nilly:

You can feed them insects but fish fillet are more convenient.
