Hey guy's i have a ceylon puffer that is about 4 inches long ect. He's in 1,014 water but posted here for a better responce and i have quistion regarded the salinity thanks. First off today was the third time my dude has jumped out of his tank. He is in a 38 gallon with just a mono sebae so he has plunty of room and all that. Wonder what would make him jump out think it's just cuzz he gets crazy and like runs around all frantic smashes everything and just ends up falling out exct. He's eating and swiming ok. Except he's favoring his left front fin and not using his right side that much looks injured can a fish brake a fin. Allso he is beet up pretty bad all scraped up and such. I'm not really familiar with what to ad to the water to make him heal faster and such this is the only tank i have ever had that is not fresh. Allso i was going to bring to salinity up to marine levels soon any ways would it be benificial to his healing if i started that now with the water change i'm doing tommorrow. I'm aware that more then .02 every two weeks is to much. Any other comments would be aprreciated. I love this little guy have had him for like 6 months now and is so personable and such is my little friend please do help. Thanks for you'r time and sorry for the long read.

Sincerely

SG is fine for that fish. Care is the exact same as GSP: http://www.**************.com/forum...cus/an-introduction-to-green-spotted-puffers/

The signs you are describing are typical of nitrite poisoning. Please post your exact water parameters & water change schedule.
