any one have abnormally large convicts

I was just wondering if anyone had any huge convicts. I've never had one get over about 6 inches. I'd like to see an 8 incher. I doubt a convict could ever get bigger that 8 inches. Post pics if you have them.

Convicts do not grow very large, i;ve personally never seen one much over six inches.
There must exist an Eight incher out there somewhere, but i don't think that is a normal size for the species.

I have never seen 1 bigger than 5" or so and i would also like to see a pic of a big convict

i've seen them at 6 1/2 inches, not very long, but very bulky

Mine is 5" or a little bigger. He is thick as hell! He eats Hakari large pellets, bloodworms and can fit a single large pellet into his mouth, it's awesome! I agree there has to be a 8"er out there somewhere!

i can appreciate the heftier cons people have bulked up, but i would doubt i'll be seeing an 8incher any time soon. like to see it also though

Yeah 6in males are all I've seen. I guess maybe with good feeding, time,& care there may be one that will get over 6 but imagine how round that fish will be.

they had a big tank with a couple of BIG Cons in it, must have been between 6-8inches easily. They were too well hidden to get any pics unfortunately, but they were the biggest I've seen anywhere...
