Im getting another 125 gallon tank in about a month, I was wondering if anyone has ever put a snapping Turtle with cichlids. If they have tell me about the experience.

lol have you seen documentries on the snapping turtle or seen what they do?
the cichlids would be gone in no time. you may as well throw dead fish in a tank. snapping turtles are highly efficient predators and a 125 with cichlids would be an all you can eat buffet.

Are there any turtles at all that could be put with cichlids?

im unsure but from most of the posts i have read about keeping the 2 together, the fish always end up as lunch or dying from water pollution problems due to the turtles being extremely messy. do a search with keyword "turtle" and that should yield some results, if not then expand to the whole of mfk.

forgot to mention that not only are they extremely predatory but snappers get too large for some ponds never mind a 125.

a freind of myn keeps a pair of terrapins's in with his cichlids, thats a in a 8x2x2 with large cichlids such as various vieja species and adult managuense.
