As the titile says basicly , i have got my 120Gal tank for the Malawi Cichlid tank as soon as the Silver Awo' has grow a little bigger and i take it out the tank and put it in my other tank .

i was thinking on putting a few Featherfin Catfish in with them but is there any other types of fish i can put with Malawi Cihlids ?

What kind of malawis? mbuna? others? Big tank, lots of possibilities. I believe quite a few Victorians can go in there as well as possibly some Tanganyikans

Lake Malawi Cihlids like Yellow Lab' , P. Acei , P. Lombardoi , Venustus Cichlid , P. Crabro and others like that .

your best bet is synodontis, I would be cautious on Tanganyikans since it appears most of the malawi cichlids seem to be mbuna (other than the nimbo venustus) and many Tangs would get pushed around, esp. Altolamps or Cyprichromis

i would stay away from the plecs and go with synodontus's,
the labs and acei are peaceful, crabro and venustus are both reasnobly aggresive but not 2 bad, thing is not sure about lombardi, as iv never kept them.
i would go with either more malawi's or some nice victorians. as they can generally hold there own better than the tanganyikans.

How many Malawi Cichlids could i comfortbly fit in the 120Gal tank ?

I was thinking on 6 Featherfin's ( Synodontis Eupterus ) for the bottom .

Basicly i am getting them all off a website , and they do a mixed Malawi collection for a set price depending on how many you choose and the list of what i can get is -

M. Auratus
P. Greshakei
BB Zebra
M. Johanni
P. Crabro
P. Elongatus
Red Zebra
Venustus Cichlid
Yellow Lab
P. Lombardoi
P. Acei

but i could just choose the indvidile fish from these and then choose form these list and get what i want and how many of each -

Auloncara Eureka Red Flash
Aulonocara baenschi benga
Aulonocara Calico
Aulonocara hansbaenschi
Aulonocara jacobfreibergi
Aulonocara kandensis
Aulonocara marleri
Aulonocara maylandi
Aulonocara stuartgranti
Aulonocara stuartgranti "Chipoka" - Red Rubin
Aulononcara stuartgranti usisya
Cobalt Blue Zebra
Electric Yellow Lab
Hap Moori
Melanochromis Auratus
Melanochromis Johanni
Nimbochromis Venustus
Powder Blue Cichlid - Pseudotropheus Socolofi
Pseudotropheus Acei
Pseudotropheus Crabro
Pseudotropheus Greshakei
Pseudotropheus Lombardoi
Pseudotropheus Zebra Red .

You can either keep this group together
Auloncara Eureka Red Flash
Aulonocara baenschi benga

Aulonocara Calico
Aulonocara hansbaenschi
Aulonocara jacobfreibergi
Aulonocara kandensis
Aulonocara marleri
Aulonocara maylandi
Aulonocara stuartgranti
Aulonocara stuartgranti "Chipoka" - Red Rubin
Aulononcara stuartgranti usisya

Or this group
Cobalt Blue Zebra
Electric Yellow Lab

Hap Moori
Melanochromis Auratus
Melanochromis Johanni
Nimbochromis Venustus
Powder Blue Cichlid - Pseudotropheus Socolofi
Pseudotropheus Acei
Pseudotropheus Crabro
Pseudotropheus Greshakei
Pseudotropheus Lombardoi
Pseudotropheus Zebra Red .

Not a good idea to mix between them though as the second group will be too aggressive for the first.
