Any other fish that can go with Malawi Cichlids ?

Thank you very much to list them for me , any idea on how many i could fit in to a 120Gal tank , and how of each fish do you think would work best ?

A Trio of the most of the things on first list wouldn't be a bad number.

Also, I wouldn't plan on getting any fry with all those different species in there. Pretty strong chance of some crossbreeding.

Also, what kind of filtration do you run on the tank? That will determine stocking capabilities.

Thanks , i am probily going along with a trio of each Cichlid along with the 6 Synodontis Eupterus and i will be running a Tetratec 1200 and 2 Fluvel 4's .

Anymore suggestions/ ideas ?

I second the notion for synodontis. Most synos are big bruisers and can handle the cichlids effectively unlike the plecos and loaches.

I have a 125 gallon tank. I have approximately 50 fish plus 1 spotted pleco, and 2 Synodontis. I have mostly Mbuna, but also have 2 Jack Dempseys, a Midas/Red Devil (adopted form a friend until it gets too big), and some Convicts. Everyone is happy!

I also have 5 clown loaches - they are happy as . . . well . . . loaches.

You should keep them with species from their own lake.. And not all species from the lake are compatible.

Ok thanks everyone , still making my mind up on which ones to get as in the first list or the second list that frostyone posted up .

I do like i little aggression in my tank but not too much , how a aggressive are the the second list ? And will they ever fight enough that they would kill each other or is it just a little pushing/ chasing about ?
