I have a few phalaenopsis, a cattleya, and I'm hoping to get polyrhizza lindenii. Does anyone have info on polyrhizza lindenii? Thanks!
Tell us what you have!

I used to keep a large collections of mostly Paphs and Phals with a few Oncidium alliance mixed in. For a while I was a member of the National Orchid Society and had quite the library of books.

When I started getting more into fish something had to give, and orchids are an expensive hobby. I sold my collection of 60 plants (some in bloom at the time) for $200, along with most of my books, magizines, and stuff like pots, potting mixes, and ferts. The lady that bought them was absolutly estatic.

I kept the lights, some books and my orchid case. I still have one mini oncidium growing in my son's lizard tank. I lost my 'Sherry Baby' orchid last summer when we had a really early frost, it was one of my favorites because of the smell and my name is Sherry.

It is really hard not to go back to growing orchids. There have been times I see a beautiful plant and it takes all I have not to buy it.

Good luck with your plants, they are so worth the work when they bloom!

My mom was heavily into Cymbidiums in So Cal. Here in the Philippines orchids are everywhere and cheap!
