anyone have this types of monitor before....I dont even think we can even get this one>..VARANUS FLAVESCENS yellow monitor but maybe this.>VARANUS SPENCERI...post pics and tell me about it...thanks

cant get none of them in the states, unless its though illegal means. AU doesnt allow wildlife to be exported and even the ones that are in EU cant get here due to the strict wildlife laws (lacy act?). Spencers are my favorite monitors of all times

Actualy if Im not mistaken there are a few people in the us with spencers:confused: I saw something about it in kingsnake´s monitor forums. Of corse they probably are extremely expensive. In kingsnake I also see Varanus varius for sale from time to time

There are currently two different ads (two different suppliers) selling Yellow Monitors, on kingsnake.

And really, not that expensive. $275 for one and $375 for the other.

No those keepers are from AU and EU there are none in the us unless they were smuggled in but i doubt it. The lace monitors were here already and were being bred (FR and others).
The quince monitor ( Varanus melinus) is refered to as yellow monitor by dealers but it is not its a quince monitor plain and simple. True yellow monitors are VARANUS FLAVESCENS and its very unlikely to get them without a huge price tag plus i believe they are endangered so it would be best to leave them along if it ever became avalible (too much red tape).
