Any plant doctors in?

Just wondering how my Java ferns are looking. Rather odd how they propagate. Also please look at the swords

So a couple questions

1. The one sitting at an angle looks pretty bad to me. The other is looking nice. Is there anything I can do? Should I try to re attach and spread leaves out more?

2. Swords. The one baby is getting pretty big. Should I let it go or cut and plant? Should I just try to plant leaving it attached (like anchor it)?

3. Should i trim or clip anything?

Sorry. But I am (or was) a plant killer and am paranoid. I want to make this work.

1. Your plant maybe angled coz its trying to reach for the light??? So you could turn your plant around 180 deg. to see if that helps???

2. Totally up to you if you want to anchor the sword, if you are happy with its size you could anchor it, otherwise keep letting it float...

3. I would maybe trim any leaves that are dead or dying, otherwise unless you are trying to shape a plant just leave them be...

Also do you fertilize? And do you have snails? Snails break down organic material into forms usable by plants
