I have caught the plecotitus now and I bought a Sultan pleco today, the best fish purchase in a while and does anybody know how rare those are? Ive just never seen them before. It was cool because I was gonna buy a queen arabesque but then saw my little sultan tucked away in a corner. 
i have some catfish in my tanks the most beautiful one for me is the acanthicus adonis , he is 60 cm long
I love Plecos, but for some reason, they always seem to die on me. I usually get about 1-2 years out of them and they die on me for no reason. They longest I've ever kept one was 5 years. 
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Everything else lives. How long do plecos live anyways? I've always wondered that and no one has been able to answer that.

I'm never sure if my pleco really eats well because i don't see him eat. I throw some algae wafers and i notice he cleans up well (pvc pipes are clear of algae because of him). Algae wafers are gone the next day when i check on the tank so i assume he eats, but can't be sure.
Just got my webcam. Im going to post some new pics of my scarlet plco for starters. Wish me luck on figuring out how to take good pics with this cam.
Ok im going to try this again. Super cool looking isnt he? Idont know anyone else in AK that has one.
