Any recommendations on tanks?

Hi! Newbie here and I'm looking at getting a tank, probably around 75 gallons . Do you think that the glass tanks from Petco or Petsmart are OK ?

Also what kind of filter what I need on a tank that size, and is this the best place to ask questions about taking care of Cichlids as I am new to the hobby.

I got my first tank (55 gallon) from petsmart and it seems to be pretty good quality to me. Realistically if you buy a tank brand new you should be fine, as for filtration it's up to you what kind of filter, over filtration is never a bad thing imo, I run a fx4 canister filter on my 75 which is rated for 250 gallons

I have a 125 marine land from petsmart and a 40 and 55 aqueon from Petco. All tanks have been going for years without and problems. The only thing I noticed was the silicon on the 55 looks a little sloppy. Try to decide what type of filter you want before you get the stand. Some don't really allow room for larger canisters, like my 125. Its a huge chore getting my fluval fx5 through the doors for maintenance.
