So I got this little guy back in July when he was Quarter size, obviously he has grown a bit LOL. His shell went from the nice smooth green and Yellow it was, to this weird looking shell. I am thinking he grew too fast and needs to shed in a major way, just need to confirm. Here is pics:

RES shells tend to get a little duller as they get older. He does look like he will shed soon though. BTW they dont grow too quick for the shell. Everything is always in sinc if you have them in proper health.

I know that they dull over time, its the film like covering that is weirding me out, think I'll stick with my Alligator Snappers LOL.

You make it sound as if snappers should be the main staple of pet shops. XD. I think so too.

Thats how a young growing slider is suposse to look like. Dont want it? Ship it to me B)

My GF would kill me, she love the little guy and has him hand trained.

the hand trained?

Im sure my snapper could be. He already is trained when the chop stick enters the tank, he comes running, even if he is burried.

Well yeah, most turtles can be hand trained, but she is the one that trained him and it was her first Turtle. You know how that is.
