any shark at all in a 300

My state may be lifting it's shark ban(rumor). If it does what shark could I have in a 300 gallon with a porcupine puffer? Coral cat?

From what I understand, puffers do not do well with sharks. They are not gulpers (if you know what I mean) and tend to pick at the eyes of the sharks in particular.

What's the footprint? Your best bet would be a greyhound

Smooth hounds will definitely not work in a 300 for long. Your best bet would be any of the smaller cat sharks, i.e. coral cat, izu, etc.

wards wobbegong or any of the 6 species of epaulettes, all stay under 1m. puffers dont agree with sharks they tend to nibble on there fins.

No. Puffers are very bad tank mates for sharks - period.
