Any pics? ;] a traditional or oriental? I haven't had a full blooded siam but have had cats mixed with it. They are very talkative and are demanding when it comes to affection, something I love about them.
Never had a problem with it but full blooded siams usually suffer from retinal problems (progressive retinal atrophy) as they age, something to due to a mutation in their genes.

I have a 14 year old traditional. Coolest cat ever!!! He has quite the personality. I have heard from other Siam owners that they can get hooked on one food, luckily mine was fed a varied diet of wet, dry and fresh his whole life so I don't have any problems with that. Be warned they are very prone to tumors later in life.
Mine has 4 in his mouth and jaw that have developed in the last 2 years. Also they are the most vocal cats on the planet (personally I love that) so they will let you know how they are constantly. Here's my big boy, we call him Simba He's around 34" long and 22lbs so he is a really big boy!
