my 180 has geos, sevs, one approx 12" BGK, & tetras.
Any smaller CAs that may be harmless if Not in pairs? HRPs, T. ellioti/maculipinnis or such?

I'm BORED, Lol.

I would also suggest nanoluteus, I house them with Acarichthys heckelli, and Guianacara sp, they are tough enough to handle fish much larger than themselves, yet none aggressive.
And they are on the Wet Spot list.

you think they'd be ok in pairs with tapajos redheads in that tank too?
I just want to add some different splashes of color & will consider bachelors, but pairs are more fun.

I had them with Geophagus red head tapajaros for a while in a 125 gal, with no problems, Both species are slow growers, and different enough that they seem to ignore each other.

This is something I am interested in as well. I have Geophagus red head tapajos, Guianacara stergiosi, notatus severums, Retroculus lapidifers, Cryptoheros panamensis, Cryptoheros cutteri, and Australoheros sp. 'red ceibal'. They are all separate for now, but as they grow (most are currently juveniles), I want to merge several of these species in a large 150+ gallon tank. Thoughts?

Apologies for hijacking the thread. :)

you're not hijacking to add certain species to the question :-)
I think australoheros 'red ceibal' are very aggressive, whereas australoheros 'oblongum' aren't. oblongum display great range of color changes (+blues) I'm not sure if they'd do best @my constant 79F SA tank temperature.? but some ppl say they've less need of cool-down temps.
Panamensis are reportedly extremely aggressive for their genus toward conspecifics,, enough to go after heterospecifics too. I doubt(?) whether bachelorhood would diminish that enough for peaceful SA community. If anyone knows differently, I'd like to hear. they are gorgeous.
Cutteri would be too aggro as pairs in my type of SA community. don't know about bachelors.
However you already have dedicated tanks to move them to, if it's a wreck.
I'm not quite there ATM ;) Do have a couple alternate tanks, pending stands etc.
