i was thinking a florida softshell it will be in a mangrove swamp biotope tank that is all land on one side and water on the other side he will be about 5-6" with fiddler crabs, costa rican land crabs, red claw crabs, monos, tiger scat, figure eight puffers and a moray

Nope, sorry that's not going to work. Florida Softshells can get big and all living things will be considered food. And I think all puffers are poisonous so that fish will be the softshells final meal.

You could try this one:

I think DiamondBack Terrapins are the only option for you.
But even then its simply to risky, most of the other animals can hurt the turt or the turt hurts them

i was thinking the same thing. terrapins are brackish turtles and they dont realy get very big. from what ive heard they are high mantainace pets.

And having them live with porcupine puffer, moray eal, crabs, etc:eek: To risky :grinno:

AHHHH why the hell not? We had nuts here that had wall geckos and cresteds and leos and anacondas all in the same tank :)

Actually they're not suppose to be too hard to keep anymore thanks to captive breeding. As long as you keep the water very clean, CBB terrapins can live in freshwater without any problems.
