Just wondering, I know there's lots of herp people, but never seen too much in this forum about spiders. If you have any, let me know, pics if possible. I'll post my own soon, but they're all spiderlings right now so pretty unimpressive.

haha, I used to be scared of spiders till I worked with them for a while at the LFS. They're absolutely fascinating and alien creatures, and the lowest-maintenance pet I own. Snake Eyes, what kinds do you have?
ok here's a few of mine...
1st is Grammostola rosea (rose hair)
2nd is Avicularia avicularia (Pink toe)
3rd is Lasiodora parahybana (Brazilian salmon birdeater)
all are under 1 and 1/4" right now

got 2 half inch spiderlings.
theyre cool. burrow a lot some intricate burrow system.
im looking for a deeper/longer enclosure for them which is also narrow enough for them to feel secure in. fill that with a good substrate so burrows dont collapse. recommend anything that shape? good links to ideas?

The guys in the mechanic shop that I work at had a sun spider that they caught. It was crazy to see when it came to feeding time. Very aggressive.
I use 100% peat on all my spiders. My H. lividum is kept in a plastic 1 gallon jar that has 8" of peat and it holds a burrow very well.
