Any suggestion for freshwater community fish in 5 gallon tank?

i am looking for the medium and small size fishes.I have 1 bettas in the tank.What kind of fish can be the best tankmate for bettas and do not eat plants?

You might add an Otocinclus affinis or Otto as they are known. These are a dwarf suckermouth cat.
